Hook size - We recommend a 2/0 belly treble and 4/0 BKK Lone Diablo on the tail. (If you want to run twin trebles, the best size is 1/0 or 2/0 BKK Raptor.)

The Flare is a slim style popper designed with a large flared cup that grips the water in rough conditions and keeps the lure straight on the cast like the feathers of an arrow.

Perfect for the reef flats for monster wrasse, dino coral trout, GTs, spangos and in many situations will raise fish that might not have bothered to leave their bommie for a stickbait.

Great for shy kingfish that won't take a bigger offering and of course loves getting thrown into the middle of a bust up!

Action is very versatile, short jerks of the rod will allow for a short bubbling pop for shy reef fish whereas with long aggressive sweeps will give a surprisingly loud pop where it'll dive down under the surface with swimming action and a long bubble trail which attracts the larger, more aggressive fish .

Low rod angle will get a loud popping sound and more subsurface turbulence whereas a higher rod angle will impart more spray and more water movement on the surface.
