Why are things out of stock?
Black Ledge Lures are made by a small team of passionate lure makers, artists and fishermen. We can only produce very small numbers of lures per week and will keep replenishing stock as soon as it's ready for sale. Unfortunately many colours will likely be out of stock but if you follow us on Instagram and Facebook, you'll be the first to find out when we restock the store.
For the first few years we only took orders, we quickly became snowed under and customers were looking at wait times over 6 months. To combat this we have opened our own webstore to offer more choice to more people and to help people get the lures they want, when they want.
We try and get each order packaged up and sent within 1-3 working days. Occasionally it can take a bit longer as we may update the store as lures are coming off the epoxy rack and are finished but still need a few days to properly cure.
As passionate fishermen located on Western Australia's Ningaloo reef, we also are mercy to the weather and tides. If a weather opportunity coincides with the right tides, we'll be out on the water casting our lures!
We post all orders from Exmouth, Western Australia. Whilst being a great location for testing lures on the Ningaloo Reef, postage can be slow getting out of here! All domestic shipments are shipped via Aus Post Express service but due to us being in a remote area, expect your package to take a day or two longer than normal.
International post is sent via DHL Express to ensure a fast and reliable service worldwide.
Customs and import duties may be applied to International orders when the shipment reaches its destination. Such charges are the responsibility of the recipient of your order and vary from country to country. Contact your local customs office for details.
Shipping laws are different in each country. It is your responsibility to check with your Customs office to verify whether the country to which you are shipping permits the shipment of your products. Black Ledge Lures is not responsible for any direct, indirect, punitive, or consequential damages that arise from improper international shipping practices.
If you would like to add insurance to your order, please let us know and we'll arrange it for you with the carrier.
Sorry we currently do not offer returns if you change your mind, only if the item is defective. That said we've never been asked for one either!
